Maison Seignou - Chambres Et Table D'hôtes

Very nice place in a cozy village for a relaxed weekend. All good with the room, even if I do not find correct to offer a “double room” with 2 single mattresses put together without specifying it, but it is common practice unfortunately. The outside bath was excellent, breakfast was nice, all very clean, staff was friendly and overall the place was good value for money and it is recommended. The good ratings online create expectations that maybe are not fully met. 4 stars because: the sauna was rather cold/ hamman is just not usable with the cold tiles / the “typical mountain products” dinner was disappointing (first course literally 2 spoons of broth with spaghetti) / the staff was friendly as mentioned, but just forgot us at dinner, brought the wine when the first course was finished, dessert arrived after we were thinking of going back to the room because we were tired of waiting. That was my experience.

Adorable boutique for the people who likes quite and warm hospitality. 💙 The hosts are great, the mountain view from the window is wow. And the spa is just amazing for such a small place. But on top of all of this, the best feeling is knowing that you give your money to the right people, and this family was so thoughtful and nice to us. 💗 On one evening we wanted to leave to town while it was heavy snowing outside, and the owner insist that we won't leave because its not safe, and she even offered us to take her car (she didn't know that we got winter wheels so its fine) only when she knew we are safe to drive she let us go. And last but not least - the grandma is a great cook! and always having the cutest smile on her face🥹💗 Even tho we don't speak the same language she never give up on trying to talk to us and help us🫶🏻
